The Reports app lets you build data tables for any set of geographies. You choose a survey, add geographies and tables, and then view, modify, download, and share the result. Reports open in a new browser tab.
Ways to start a report
- From the sidebar: click Create new... in the left-hand sidebar, then Report. See Create a Report.
- From a dataset: on the Home page or in the Data Library, click Begin Report next to a dataset. The dataset is already selected, so you go straight to choosing geographies.
- From a map: create a report for the areas you see on a map. See Create Report from a Map.
- From a template: reuse a saved list of tables. See Using Templates in Reports.
Build your report
- Create a Report: choose a survey, geographies, and tables.
- Load Geographies Using FIPS Codes: paste a list of codes instead of searching.
- Using Premade Reports: start from ready-made bundles of tables by topic.
- Creating and Saving a Template: save your table list to reuse later.
To save the tables of your current report as a template, click More options in the report header, then Save list of tables.
