Sign Up for a Free Account

You can easily sign up for an account and start using Social Explorer today. There are two ways to get started.

Sign up using your Google account

1. Head over to the Sign Up page.
2. If you see Verify you are human, complete the check.
3. Click the Google icon and choose your Google account.
4. Follow the steps under Finish setting up your account below.

Sign up using your email address

1. Head over to the Sign Up page and complete the human check if you see it.
2. Enter your email address and click Continue.
3. On the Verify your email! screen, enter the code sent to your email address. Keep the window open while you check your inbox, and look in your spam folder if the code doesn't arrive.
4. On the Set your name and password screen, enter your first name, last name, and a password, then click Continue.
5. Follow the steps under Finish setting up your account below.

What you see next depends on your email address:

• Great news! If your organization already provides access to Social Explorer, this screen shows the organization that gave you a Professional license. Click Continue.
• Tell us how you'll be using Social Explorer. Choose one option:
  • Flying solo? Start with the Basic plan. You can request full access to Social Explorer tools and data at any time. Answer a few questions on the Help us get to know you better screen, then click Continue.
  • Part of an organization? Check whether your organization, university, or company provides free access to Social Explorer. See Accessing Social Explorer at a subscribing institution.

You have now successfully signed up for Social Explorer! You land on your Home page, where you can start exploring maps and data.
